ด้วยมูลนิธิคณะนักบุญคามิลโลแห่งประเทศไทย คามิลเลียนโซเชียลแคร์(โรงพยาบาลคามิลเลียน) และหอการค้าไทยอิตาลี จะแถลงข่าว และประชุมเสวนา ในหัวข้อเรื่อง "การส่งเสริมความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีและสร้างเสริมสังคมที่ยั่งยืนแก่ผู้สูงอายุในประเทศไทย" เพื่อสร้างทัศนคติและความ เข้าใจที่ถูกต้องเกี่ยวกับสังคมสถานการณ์ของผู้สูงอายุที่เพิ่มขึ้นในประเทศไทย โดยกว่าหกสิบปีที่มูลนิธิคณะนักบุญคามิลโลได้ก่อตั้งและช่วยเหลือ
ผู้สูงอายุที่ยากไร้และถูกทอดทิ้งมากกว่าพันคนในประเทศไทยอย่างต่อเนื่องจนถึงปัจจุบันทั้งนี้ทางคณะผู้ดำเนินงานได้เรียนเชิญผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิมากมาย มาร่วมแถลงข่าว และเสวนาด้วย อาทิเช่น นายแพทย์วิชัย โชควิวัฒน์ ศาสตราจารย์ระพี สาคริก เป็นต้น
ในโอกาสนี้ มูลนิธิคณะนักบุญคามิลโลแห่งประเทศไทย ในฐานะคณะกรรมการหลักจัดการแถลงข่าวและประชุมเสวนาเพื่อให้การประชาสัมพันธ์การแถลงข่าวและเสวนาดังกล่าวเป็นที่ทราบกันอย่างกว้างขวาง
