Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC)

The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC), founded in 1978-79, is an independent, private, non-profit organization of Italian and Thai businessmen and professionals, duly constituted and registered in accordance with legislative regulations in Thailand and fully recognized by the Ministry of Economic Development and International Cooperation in Italy.

The Chamber, with its headquarters in Bangkok (Thailand), is proud to host a wide network of companies and entrepreneurs from all around the world -mostly Italian and Thai businesses- which allow TICC to pursue its objectives of enhancing commercial cooperation between Italy and Thailand. The Chamber constantly organizes activities, meetings, seminars, missions, and networking events to facilitate the promotion of economical, industrial and cultural collaborations.

The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce in partnership with THAC and TEBA, is delighted to promote a seminar on the benefits of arbitration: "The good, the bad and in between: Arbitration & Mediation, Bangkok rising hub for solving disputes".

This seminar is aims to private companies, industrial manufacturing as well as smaller company, to receive information and gain beneficial insight of what can be done in Thailand when you face a dispute and what can be the best way to legally mediate it. This seminar aims to answer basic mediation needs and start the understanding of arbitrating and mediation in Thailand.



Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) refers to any legal techniques for resolving disputes outside the court. The most two common ADR forms are Arbitration and Mediation, also well-known for their convenience and speed.


Arbitration has been surveyed as the most preferred dispute resolution mechanisms for commercial disputes, specially for cross-border transactions. Whereas, Mediation is gaining more traction over the last couple of years, specially due to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which has been promoting mediation to settle BRI related disputes.
