The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce ( #TICC ) is glad to reconfirm the project: True Italian Taste, with the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Assocamerestero.

The month of July has been chosen to host a series of 2 webinars with the aim to educate Thais and the local population on choosing the right Italian ingredients, preferring those products labeled and certified PDO, PGI, and TSG. Each webinar will be focused on a particular topic, ranging from Wines, Olive oil, Cheese and Cold Cuts, wisely presented by selected Experts in the relevant industry.

Why the certifications are important?

To preserve its culinary reputation, Italy and the European Union worked together in order to create quality labels that encourage food and wine producers to focus on quality, tradition, and authenticity. To earn these legal certifications, producers must follow a strict set of guidelines, supervised by the government.
