The Thai – Italian Chamber of Commerce , in collaboration with Baan Ajarn Farang ( Silpa Bhirasri ), Silpa Bhirasri Research Center, Craftsman Roastery and Dante Alighieri Society Bangkok, is proud to announce a special event "Corrado Feroci and the Siam – A grumpy Tuscan man in the land of smiles", on the 15 September 2019, from 11 AM – 8PM @ Baan Ajarn Farang 153 Rajvidhi Rd, Dusit, Bangkok 10300.
The event is aimed to commemorate the memory of the Great Italian artist Professor Corrado Feroci or Professor Silpa Bhirasri, which will complete 127 years on 15 September 2019. Professor Silpa Bhirasri has been a key contributor to Thailand through art and education. Silpakorn University was founded with the aim of creating students who master skills in different fields. Due to the artistic beauty and sculptural works of Professor he was referred to as "The Father of The Modern Art in Thailand ".
The organizing committee will hold an exhibition and talk. The story of Silpa Bhirasri will be showcased through storytelling by an Italian film director Valerio Morini, we will also be receiving honorable collaborators to make the event more fruitful such as M.L.Chittawadi Chitrabongs , Ajarn Sawet Thesdharma The National Artist Visual Arts (Sculpture) , Ajarn Songkas Bunyasai , Ajarn Piemsuk Rhienrungrueang , Dr. Wichit Aphichatkriangkrai, and listening Santa Lucia song lulled by Assistant Professor Pongsak Arayangkura on the said day at the second floor of Baan Ajarn Farang from 15.00-17.00 hrs.
In addition, we invite guests who would be interested in viewing international products with food and beverages served including activities for children which is perfect for families and the general public to enjoy a wonderful Sunday.

15:10: Mrs Nid Chatchanok presents the Baan Ajarn Farang (Prof. Corrado Feroci's Place)
15:15: Valerio Morini interviews Prof. M. L. Chittiwadi Chitrabongs.
S.A.R. Prince Narisara Nuwattiwong's grandniece will present some findings about Prof. Feroci (unpublished operas) that testify the deep friendship between the Prince and the Master.
16:00: Valerio Morini interviews Corrado Feroci's former students who later have become important Thai artists: Ajarn Sawet Thesdharma (National Artist), Ajarn Songkas Bunyasai, Ajarn Piemsuk Rhienrungrueang, Ajarn Wichit Aphichatkriangkrai and Dr. Pongsak Arayangkura who is going to sing Santa Lucia song, hymn of the Silpakorn University founded by Corrado Feroci.
