Bangkok, 11 August 2021 – The Thai – Italian Chamber of Commerce has successfully completed our Online Interview with 88 Canatek about "Cannabis & Hemp: New Business in Thailand, market opportunities"

The event was opened by Michele Tomea, Secretary-General of the TICC, welcomed the speaker, Mr. Pornpasith, CEO of 88 Cannatek, and talked about the history and how he's interested in this kind.

The interview, firstly starting with how it all has begun both of cannabis and hemp. He was telling the difference between cannabis and hemp, such as chemical, ingredients, each affects and benefit of them, even they both are from the same kind. Mr. Pornpasith was demonstrating the processing of cannabis and hemp become amended through The Ministry of Health, Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) and laws since 2019 briefly.

After that, he gave the audience advice about what the business can do and told the steps, how many licenses must have before starting this business. Moreover, among this current business, cannabis, and hemp are high-value products which he thought that this business would help and increase income for the economy and the population even though there has a complicated process and many challenges.
