The Moviemov Italian Film Fest is back and pays homage to Ferzan Ozpetek and will take place in person again, for its XIII edition, in Bangkok from 27 February to 1 March 2024.

The traveling festival, born in 2010 thanks to the support of the Directorate General for Cinema of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Bangkok, the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce, and the Italian Trade Agency, anticipates its next edition with a special event in Rome, dedicated to the director and created in collaboration with Minerva Pictures. The preview presentation will begin in Rome and continue in Bangkok with the screening, in addition to the international preview of the restored copy of "The Turkish Bath - Hamam", of two of his most iconic films: "The ignorant fairies" and "Mine vaganti", accompanied by the director who will introduce them and dialogue with the spectators.

Ferzan Ozpetek comments: "It is an immense joy to know of the restoration of my directorial debut film and of the initiatives for a new circulation which will already see it in the front row at the next festival in Bangkok. The memory of that first difficult experience and uncertain but exhilarating, it still excites me".
