The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Rustichella d'Abruzzo is glad to announce the Pasta Day event, to be held at The Food School on Monday, October 16, 2023. The Pasta Day aims to highlight and promote the authenticity of Pasta in all its forms and flavours, through Italian regional recipes, using Rustichella d'Abruzzo high-quality ingredients.


Enriching the event will be Italian chefs known for their decades of experience in the kitchens of some of the best Italian restaurants in Bangkok. We will host the following chefs:

  • Francesco De Rosa, from The Food School
  • Francesco Lenzi, from Lenzi Tuscan Kitchen
  • Marco Avesani, from La Bottega Di Luca
  • Martina Sabbioni, from The Food School
  • Miro Mattalia, from Cetara

ABOUT RUSTICHELLA D'ABRUZZO

Rustichella d'Abruzzo means tradition, quality and love for its land that since 1924 does not stop telling the world with its own pasta.

In 1924 Gaetano Sergiacomo, maternal grandfather of the current proprietors Gianluigi and Maria Stefania Peduzzi, and the son of famous millers who worked in the Vestina area, decided to part ways with the family and the milling business and established the pasta factory "Pastificio Gaetano Sergiacomo" in Penne.

In 1981, Piero Peduzzi, father of the current Proprietors, decided to try producing homemade whole-wheat pasta, which due to technical reasons could not be legally produced in Italy, as well as the traditional pasta, but with the use of bronze dyes, so that the pasta could hold the sauce better.

In 1989 RUSTICHELLA D'ABRUZZO S.A.S. was established with partners Gianluigi and Maria Stefania Peduzzi. Nicolina Sergiacomo put the Family Company in the hands of her children and left the company organisation.

Today, the Peduzzi family grants Rustichella a reputation of excellence, sealing the success of the brand in 70 countries around the world. Drawn in bronze dye, dried at low temperature, Rustichella d'Abruzzo pasta is rough at a perfect level in order "to capture" and keep any type of seasoning.
